EU: Cosmetic Testing Certification

EU: Cosmetic Testing Certification

The first cosmetics regulation (EC) 1223/2009 of the European Union was formally implemented on July 11, 2013, which clearly stipulates that products must complete the Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) before they can be marketed in the EU economic zone. It can be said that CPSR certification is a compulsory EU certification for cosmetics, and cosmetics exported to EU countries need to be certified by CPSR. The CPSR report is a comprehensive safety audit and evaluation report based on the product ingredient formula and in combination with the product related test reports. The CPSR cosmetic safety report consists of two parts, namely cosmetic safety information and cosmetic safety assessment. European cosmetics CPSR certification reports include: microbial test, heavy metal test, anti-corrosion effectiveness test, stability test, packaging material test, MSDS report, and toxicological evaluation of TRA formula Materials required for CPSR Due to strict data requirements and complex test procedures, complete and complete materials are required to complete CPSR, including: application form containing product name, product description (such as physical state, color, intended use) information; List of ingredients, including CAS number, percentage of each ingredient, and expected effect of each ingredient; MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for all ingredients; Certificate of Compliance (COA) or Specification; 26 Allergy test report and IFRA (International perfume Association) certificate; Microbial quality test report of the product; Product preservative challenge test report; Product stability test report; Product packaging compatibility test report, internal packaging material information, heavy metal test report; Heavy metal test report of product (formula), including lead, arsenic, mercury, antimony, cadmium, nickel; Product risk substance test (formula); Product photos and original photos of Zui end products; Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or audit reports; No nano material declaration; For more information, please contact our professional team:
